LAS VEGAS – Anderson dos Santos beat Martin Day with a first-round submission Saturday to close out the preliminary card at UFC on ESPN 18 in Las Vegas.

“I feel very good. It’s my first victory in the UFC. I’m so happy. … It was a normal fight. I train every day — wrestling, muay Thai, boxing and jiu-jitsu. It was a good fight against a good guy, but I was better tonight.”

Dos Santos on what he wants next

“I want to fight again very soon. … I’m ready for everything and any time the UFC calls.”
