We are not about to pretend as if Saturday night’s UFC on ESPN 18 is loaded from top to bottom with big name stars. That’s a fact which became extra apparent after the scheduled main event of Curtis Blaydes vs. Derrick Lewis fell out on Friday after Blaydes tested positive for COVID-19.
But that doesn’t mean the card, which boasts a new main event of Devin Clark vs. Anthony Smith, isn’t worth watching.
The card features several fighters who are well on their way to becoming household names, like Amir Albazi, Miguel Baeza, and Josh Parisian.
All three fight on the main card: Parisian (13-3 MMA, 0-0 UFC) takes on Parker Porter (10-6 MMA, 0-1 UFC), Albazi (13-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) meets Zhalgas Zhumagulov (13-4 MMA, 0-1 UFC), and Baeza (9-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) squares off with Takashi Sato (16-3 MMA, 2-1 UFC).
