In the main event, Curtis Blaydes (12-2 MMA, 7-2 UFC) takes on former heavyweight champion Junior Dos Santos (21-6 MMA, 15-5 UFC). In the co-feature, Michael Chiesa (15-4 MMA, 9-4 UFC) meets ex-lightweight champ Rafael dos Anjos (29-12 MMA, 18-10 UFC) at welterweight.

Brett Johns vs. Tony Gravely
Round 1 – Gravely kicks off the fight – literally, with a leg kick. The two fighters exchange kicks and Gravely slips. Johns grabs a hold of Gravely and attempts a front choke. Gravely escapes and pulls Johns to the mat. The two bantamweights scramble up and Johns lands on top. Johns scoots around to Gravely’s back and is working for a choke. Gravely elevates, wearing Johns as a backpack. Johns loses a grip on the chin and lands some short punches. Gravely plans his hands on the mat, hip still elevated – likely in an attempt to shake Johns off. Johns attacks and arm and flattens Gravely out. Gravely rises back to his feet. Johns is working the rear-naked choke from the backpack. Johns works is arm under the chin. It’s getting close. Gravely is grimacing, but he escapes. The buzzer sounds. 10-9 Johns.

Herbert Burns vs. Nate Landwehr
Round 1 – No touch of gloves and the card commences. Burns lands a hard jab in the first exchange. Moments later, Burns gets a takedown against the fence – and he’s already going for a submission. Burns gets hold of a d’arce choke and it looks tight. Landwehr is scrambling, doing everything he can to avoid being submitted. Burns steps over into mount, but Landwehr pushes him off. The two fighters rise to their feet, but Burns remains hold of the choke. Landwehr is out. Wow. Landwehr lands a shoulder strike a-la-Conor McGregor. The two fighters open up and exchange. Landwehr connects on a slick uppercut, but Burns lands a hard knee. Landwehr is out cold on impact. That’s it. What a way to kick off the card.
