Round 1 – Jacoby lifting his lead leg and then kicks low. He’s switching stances on the outside. Grishin moving around and kicks low. Both men moving well and looking for options. They clinch briefly, but noting there. As they break away, Grishin lands a stiff jab that sends Jacoby tumbling backwards to the canvas. Grishin follows and gets to the back, looking for the choke, but Jacoby tripods and slips out the back. They work in the clinch briefly before Jacoby backs away. Grishin with a low kicks and then engages in the clinch and drives the action to the fence. Knees inside, but Jacoby able to spin off and back away. Two minutes left. Jacoby looking to press forward and engage. Grishin teasing the knee ip the middle to slow the advance. Plenty of movement from both. Jacoby brings a high kick up top that lands partially, but Grishin immediately swinging back. Grishin flashing out the front kick, but Grishin tags him again with a right hand. Short shot, but it hurt. Jacoby to the floor, and Grishin leaps to his back again. This time the bell sounds before he can get the choke. Jacoby’s nose is busted up. MMA Junkie gives the round to Grishin, 10-9.

Round 2 – Jacoby pawing the jab, but Grishin is turning up the pressure a bit on the feet. Grishin with a left to the body. Jacoby looking to counter. He doubles up the jab. Jacoby’s corner wants him back to the center, but Grishin is keeping that position for now. Jacoby keeps moving laterally and does push out to the middle. He lands a low kick. Grishin staying in front and kicks the legs a bit. Grishin has a right hand blocked and then kicks to the body. Halfway through the round. Jacoby’s corner wants the jab going. He does pop it out a bit and lands a front kick, as well. Grishin misses on a big uppercut. Stiff jab from Jacoby. He’s finding some rhythm now. Leg kicks traded. Grishin wants a clinch but can’t get hold. Lead hook from Jacoby scores, and Grishin is rocked. Grishin shoots, but Jacoby stuffs it. Jacoby gaining a little steam here. Blood is streaming from his nose, but he seems the fresher fighter. Grishin lands to the cup on a low kick, but Jacoby wants to continue. They trade punches at the bell. Closer round, and MMA Junkie leans Jacoby, 10-9.

Round 3 – Low kick from Jacoby, but Grishin continues to walk forward. jab scores for Jacoby. Grishin is chasing, but Jacoby is moving well and avoiding. Grishin tries to initiate a clinch, but Jacoby pulls away. Jacoby slips on a kick, but Grishin can’t get to him before he’s back up. Jacoby’s corner wants the jab to keep coming. He lands a clean shot. Another scores. Grishin is pressing and is kicking the legs, but he’s missing a lot up top. Jacoby with another crisp jab. Grishin’s face busted a bit now. Low kicks traded. Grishin slips a bit on a low kick, and Jacoby rushes forward with a flying knee that doesn’t land, and they wind up in the clinch. Jacoby on the outside and pulls his head free. He’s looking for center position and trying to strike. Grishin pulls free and lands a sneaky shot. They move back to the center. Ninety seconds left. Jacoby continues to lead with the jab. Leg kicks are traded. Grishin pressing, but Jacoby moving well and countering. The left hand scoring. Jacoby catches a kick but lets it go. Stiff jab from Grishin. He wants to flurry, but Jacoby moves out and blocks and lands one of his own. Very close round, MMA Junkie leans toward Jacoby, 10-9, giving him the fight, 29-28. Could go either way, and maybe even a 10-8 or two in Round 1.

Round 1 – Quick movement, and Lawrence with a low kick, but Cachero stings punches over the top. Lawrence moving laterally and showing all types of movement, keeping a frantic pace. Cachero looking to stay in the pocket and trade. Eventually, Lawrence changes levels and scores an incredible quick takedown in the center of the cage. Cachero controls the wrist and is looking to set up the submission, but Lawrence is able to spin out and stay on top. Cachero working to get to his feet but had to defends his neck for a bit. He pops free. Low kick sweeps Cachero to the floor, but he pops back up. Lawrence right on top with a knee. Cachero looking to engage, but Lawrence’s pace making that tough. They clinch, and Lawrence capitalizes with a few knees inside. They break away, and Cachero lands a right hand, his best of the fight so far, but Lawrence immediately changes levels and drives through again for a takedown. Cachero trying to turn and escape, but Lawrence is heavy on top. Short elbows. He tries to step to mount. Cachero prevents that, but he’s stuck on bottom, where he finishes the round. MMA Junkie gives the first to Lawrence, 10-9.

Round 2 – Lawrence again with quick movement and kicks the leg. Cachero looking to cut off the cage rather than chase. Lawrence hoping top stick and move with his relentless pace, but Cachero is trying to track him down with big strikes. Just as Cachero comfortable on the feet, Lawrence changes levels and drives him to the canvas. Cachero active and turns to his knees and stands. As they do, he looks to score a trip and gets Lawrence to his knees, but it’s Lawrence who drives through from there and scores a takedown to take the action to the floor. Half-guard for Cachero. Lawrence looking to slip his leg free while keeping shoulder pressure. He’s able to work it out and get to side control. Cachero turns to his knees and stands, but Lawrence trips him immediately back to the floor. Cachero counters and has the neck. he’s looking to set up the choke, but Lawrence patiently works it free and then drives in for the big takedown. Key reversal there. Cachero stands quickly, but Lawrence slams him down even harder. Just incredible work rate from Lawrence. He’s advancing position and trying to get the arm-triangle choke in position. Cachero keeps himself safe but again finishes on the bottom. MMA Junkie gives it again to Lawrence, 10-9.

Round 3 – Lawrence just misses a flying knee to start. Turning kick to the body. Short punch scores and Cachero is staggered as he slips to the floor. Lawrence grabs him, picks him up, and slams to the canvas with a high-impact throw. Lawrence controlling well. Cachero trying to work back to his feet. He gets to his knees, but Lawrence takes the back, and Cachero has to turn inside again. Lawrence able to move to mount. He’s striking away. Cachero turns to expose his back, but Lawrence just keeps punching. Referee Jerin Valel watching closely and giving warnings. Cachero trying to turn and move. He’s doing his best, but he’s stuck, and Lawrence isn’t going to stop, and this fight is over. Impressive stuff.
