HOUSTON – Tucker Lutz beat Kevin Aguilar with a unanimous decision Saturday on the preliminary card at UFC 262 in Houston.
Take a look inside the fight with Lutz, who has not lost since the first fight of his pro career in 2015.
Lutz on the fight’s key moment
“I thought it was pretty good. I thought I mixed up my striking and my takedowns well, kind of telegraphed the shots in the third round so I’ve got some things to work on. I have to be a little bit more offensive for my top game too, but other than that I’m pretty pleased with how my striking was.
“Going in there and pulling off a dominant victory over a veteran like that, a former LFA champion who was knocking everyone dead back in the day, I just think that it shows that my first fight under the UFC banner I’m ready to mix up with the best in the world and I proved that tonight.”

Lutz on the scoring
“I knew I had won the fight. I was a little disappointed that there were some 29-28s out there. I hate losing rounds – I absolutely hate it. But I’m taking the good out of this one, taking the positive. It was a great night. I had so much fun in there. That’s probably the most fun I ever had in a fight. It was a good night.”
