ABU DHABI – Movsar Evloev beat Nik Lentz with a split decision Saturday on the preliminary card at UFC 257 in Abu Dhabi.

Take a look inside the fight with Evloev, who stayed unbeaten with his fourth straight decision win.

Evloev on the fight’s key moment

“It didn’t surprise me. My coach prepared me for his guillotine (choke), so I was ready for this situation. For me, the only surprise was the split decision. I think I won by unanimous decision every round.”

“I had a short time for this fight and I knew his cardio was a little bit better than mine in this fight. I needed one round to prepare for his cardio. After one round, he died. In the second and third round, I saw everything and bashed him.”

Evloev on what he wants next

“Only top 15 – much better, top 10. I deserve it, and if I have two months (to prepare), I’ll kill everybody. … I need a top 10 (opponent). I’m ready to bash everybody from my division and I need a good name for my next fight. My opponent Nik was a veteran – a very good fighter. I respect him, but I’m much better than everybody and to me, the belt is all that matters. You will see me take that belt.

“My manager said, ‘Are you ready for a fight with (Nate) Landwehr?’ I said of course I’m ready. After one hour, Landwehr said he’s not ready. He’s afraid of me. He’s not my level. I need only top 15 (opponents).”
