KSW lightweight champion Mateusz Gamrot will make a swift turnaround Saturday when he takes on Marian Ziolkowski in the latest defense of his 155-pound title at KSW 54 in Warsaw, Poland.

Gamrot (16-0) will take on Ziolkowski (21-7-1), who was drafted in on short notice after original title challenger Shamil Musaev sustained a knee injury ahead of the event, as the Polish champion attempts to complete the fourth defense of his title.

That tally should have been higher, but his most recent outing, against Northern Irish rival Norman Parke, was eventually contested as a non-title catchweight fight after Parke failed to make championship weight at KSW 53.

Gamrot claimed a third-round TKO victory via doctor stoppage in that matchup, which took place just one month ago in Warsaw. Now “Gamer” is making an instant turnaround to headline his second successive event in the Polish capital.
