Check out the latest breaking UFC NEWS

Justin Gaethje took a big step toward title contention at lightweight with yet another bonus-winning performance this past Saturday.

Gaethje (21-2 MMA, 4-2 UFC) took out fellow bonus hog Donald Cerrone (38-13 MMA, 23-10 UFC) with a first-round TKO in the UFC on ESPN+ 16 main event in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It was Gaethje’s third straight first-round finish and arguably the biggest win of his pro career.

Gaethje already was highly regarded in our USA Today Sports/MMA Junkie lightweight rankings. He sat at No. 6 heading into the fight with No. 4 Cerrone – but he has the classic problem of a recent loss to the man sitting at No. 3.

So where did Gaethje climb to? Check out our latest lightweight rankings, as well as movement in the rest of the divisions.
