NEWARK, N.J. – The fighters have weighed in and gotten face to face, and all that’s left to do is fight.
The official weigh-ins for UFC on ESPN 5 are in the books from the host hotel in Newark, N.J., located not far from the Prudential Center where Saturday’s 12-fight card is set to take place.
Two of the 24 fighters on the card failed to make weight, but all the scheduled matchups will proceed as planned for the ESPN-televised event. The card is headlined by a key welterweight fight between Colby Covington (14-1 MMA, 9-1 UFC) and Robbie Lawler (28-13 MMA, 13-5 UFC).
