Robertson on the fight’s key moment
“I noticed in the first round when she got that big cut then I cut her again in the second and it definitely gives you that confidence boost. You literally smell the blood and just go for the kill.”
Robertson recording her first career TKO
“(Finishing with strikes) is just something that happened. I’m honestly always hunting for the submission. I wanted to be able to display my ground-and-pound better during this fight, which I got the chance too. I was using the strikes to open up the submission, but then I heard the ref say, ‘You need to be more active, Frota.’ So then I just started opening up.”
Robertson on what she wants next
“No matter what I’m trying to stay as active as possible. I’m just trying to get in there as often as possible. I’ll take anyone. If they put Dana White in front of me, if that gets me ranked, I’m taking that fight. No matter what I’m here to fight everyone in the UFC and I’m going to work my way to the top.”
