Another former Cage Warriors champion is moving on to a North American big league.
Denmark native Soren Bak has signed a contract to compete in Bellator MMA. MMA Junkie confirmed an initial Tuesday report by the U.K. newspaper The Sun.
Bak (13-1 MMA) has held both the lightweight title and an interim featherweight belt in Cage Warriors. He’s on a five-fight win streak, most recently a majority decision over Morgan Charriere at CW103 in March. Bak’s 13 career wins include seven finishes.
“Signing with Bellator was really a great feeling and it’s a step up to the big leagues,” Bak told The Sun.
No word yet on a timetable for Bak’s first bout in the promotion.
