LAS VEGAS – Julian Erosa beat Nate Landwehr with a first-round TKO Saturday on the preliminary card at UFC Fight Night 185 in Las Vegas.

Take a look inside the fight with Erosa, who won for the third straight time, all by stoppage, after a three-fight skid.

Erosa on the fight’s key moment

“That was the one weapon I was thinking about consistently. I had some other weapons I was thinking about — a lot of things up the middle. He’s really square with you, so he leaves his chin over his feet and in the center – so teeps and knees up the middle, or straight punches. I can be loopy sometimes, so I’m really trying to straighten things up. I practice that leaping knee all the time in practice. It’s one of my favorite things to throw.”

Erosa on thoughts of a career change

“It feels amazing (to be on a winning streak) because you can only get beat down so many times before you think about other avenues in life. Should I even be fighting anymore, or should I move onto something else? The only thing I get worried about is not being able to perform like I do in the gym. If I don’t freeze up, the outcome will be good most of the time. The No. 1 thing on my mind is to perform like I do in the gym.”

Erosa on what he wants next

“I got out of there unscathed, so I’d just like to figure out who I fight next. I took too long between fights. I would like a quicker turnaround. I’m looking to get at least a couple more fights in this year.”
