ABU DHABI – Carlos Felipe beat Yorgan De Castro with a unanimous Saturday in the UFC on ESPN 16 co-main event in Abu Dhabi.

Take a look inside the fight with Felipe, who bounced back from the first loss of his pro career in his UFC debut in July.

Felipe on the fight’s key moment

“I like talking a little trash. But in this fight, I didn’t talk so much. He started with everything. Since the fight was booked, he posted a photo saying a lot of (expletive) about me. … He’s a little bipolar.”

“This mean a lot. A lot of people know my history. About two years ago, I signed with the UFC, but I was cut. It was very frustrating for me. In the same month, I lost my grandmother. It was a hard time for me. I thought about stopping fighting, stopping everything. My coaches and friends didn’t allow this. So this victory is for her and a friend because he committed suicide last year. So this victory is for both of them.”

Felipe on what he wants next

“I want to fight Raphael Pessoa ‘Bebezao.’ … I don’t like him. I want to beat him.”
